Yongnuo YN-565EX II E-TTL Slave Flash Speedlite for Canon

Featuring wireless slave TTL functionality and full Canon E-TTL / E-TTL II support, the brand new YN-565EX II/C Speedlite from Yongnuo is perfect to use as an on-camera or off-camera lighting option.

The flash's features include auto zooming from 24-105mm, a guide number of 58 at ISO 100 and 105mm, as well as tilting from -7 to +90° and 270° of rotation. When used off-camera it is easily triggered by cameras with in-built in commander modes or other speedlights with master TTL functionality. It can also act as a simple optical slave with instant sync or skip pre-flash settings.

The flash also offers other standard features that are found in other high-end flashes, including a wide-angle diffusion panel and a bounce card built into the head. Other capabilities are a modeling light function and sound prompt for audible notifications on flash status. The LCD panel assists in viewing settings and the flash will recycle in about 3 seconds. When attached to an external power pack, the recycle time is faster. First and second curtain sync modes are available as well and it has PC sync and a socket for an external power pack. It runs on 4 AA batteries.

Note: Yongnuo YN-565EX II doesn't support Master mode and High-Speed Sync

Supports Canon and Nikon Wireless TTL Slave Mode

YN-565EXII supports both Canon and Nikon wireless TTL modes in parallel, which means you have a cross-brand compatible Flash Speedlite. When it comes to the wireless slave mode:

• It can receive a wireless signal from the Canon system as well as the Nikon system at the same time
• It can receive a wireless signal from the Canon system, avoiding the Nikon System
• It can receive a wireless signal from the Nikon system, avoiding the Canon System

Under the wireless TTL slave mode (Off-Camera), YN-565EX can be fired by a Canon 580EX II, Nikon SB-900, SB-800, SB-700 and Canon 7D, 60D, 600D with built-in commander mode, a Nikon Camera with C-commander and the ST-E2.
