This is a 1955 original Jack O'Lantern cookie jar.It is in good shape, but does have some crazing, and the lid has some chips and cracks, but other than that it is in good condition. The crazing shouldn't affect the value of the cookie jar, and like I said the lid is in pretty bad condition, but it really shouldn't affect the value that much either. The cookie jar is seventy years old so most of these cookie jar aren't going to look show room new.When I purchased this jar off of ebay it was in this condition.He is very cute and would be a great decoration to have around the house, you could even keep Halloween candy inside the cookie jar.
