This is a listing for the Custom 845, a top-of-the-line model among Pilot fountain pens.

Purchased in 2023 and used frequently, I haven't been using it lately and am listing it to declutter.

The writing performance is excellent, and the ink flow is also problem-free. The writing feel goes without saying, but if I were to give my personal impression, it's a fountain pen that allows you to write Japanese smoothly, and the three elements of stopping, hooking, and sweeping are reflected in the characters in a way that matches your own sense of force.

The design also has a luxurious feel, and perhaps due to the Urushi lacquer finish, it has a different luster and texture from the black texture of other fountain pens. I've actually checked the writing of the Custom Urushi, but as a novice, I couldn't tell much difference in the writing feel from the 845. The only difference might be the weight, and I think the strength of the 845 is its ability to balance the writing feel and practicality.

The nib is 18k gold, and the nib width is F (Fine).
This listing includes the pen body and converter.
The "urushi" lettering is printed outside the gold ring, with three stars, and the design is slightly different from the current model. (The current model seems to have the "urushi" lettering printed inside the gold ring, with two stars)

The list price is 110,000 yen and seems to be increasing even now, and although it is one of the more expensive fountain pens, I think it will only increase in price in the future, so how about taking this opportunity?
