Orion Signal's Electronic SOS Beacon Locator Kit 547 offers boaters a great day and night alternative to standard flares that are prone to moisture damage. The Electronic SOS kit meets or exceeds U.S.C.G. Regulations for Night Vision Distress Signals (46 CFR 161.013) and Daytime Signaling (33 CFR 175.130). Testing done by a USCG approved lab confirms results of useage tests so you can rest assured that your signaling needs are met. The light signal flashes two times longer and at the constant light intensity two and a half times longer than the U.S.C.G. requirements.
