[Like New] Vintage Japanese Wooden Plate, Handcarved, Urushi, Vegetable motifs

A beautiful vintage large wooden plate made in the Sanuki lacquerware tradition of Kagawa, Japan. It is hand-carved from natural wood and decorated with a vegetable motif, a style also seen in Kagawa and nearby Okayama (Ujo-bori). The wood grain, urushi finish, and simple everyday motifs give the piece a warm, familiar look.

- Origin: Kagawa, Japan (Sanuki Lacqureware)
- Size: Approx. 10 in diameter, about 2 in tall
- Material: Natural wood with urushi lacquer finish
- Estimated era: 1970s–1980s, based on a matching signed set found with original box and manufacturing details
- Condition: Like New condition with no signs of use.

This plate was a long-term storage item and was carefully kept at my grandmother’s place, wrapped in its original paper and box.
