First edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 1968). True first edition in wonderful shape. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with mild shelf wear. Faint blue streak along top and bottom edge of jacket from previous archival sleeve which had a paper backing with a blue line whose coloring was transposed onto jacket over time. Boards straight and largely clean save for some darkening to top and bottom edges. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages clean and unmarked though slightly tanned.
