Handmade Pixie Elf Doll 1950s vintage 18-19 " Christmas
This is a vintage hand made pixie elf doll from the 1950's. The doll wears a red velveteen one piece jumpsuit. The hands & feet are made of white felt or velvet. The neck, wrist, & legs have cream tulle gathers, accented with red sequins. The body is built on a firm wire aperture that could be bent accordingly. She has an elf hat, accented with woven braid ribbon with red X and gold (yellow) pattern. A jewel or accent item is missing from the front of the hat. See Photos. The face is a lovely plastic with rosy cheeks and lips, she has big blue eyes. A tuft of brown hair peeks out of the hood.
Dimensions are approximate: Doll is between 18-19" depending on how she is measured.
This is a vintage doll is in good condition, commensurate with age & handling. There aren't many of these dolls around anymore.
