Nicknamed "The Hawk", Andre Dawson made his debut with the Montreal Expos in 1976 and won the National League Rookie of the Year in 1977. Dawson would make his first three of his eight All-Star games with the Expos, along with winning six of his eight Gold Gloves in Montreal. In 1987, Dawson joined the Chicago Cubs, where he would win the National League Most Valuable Player (MVP) in his first season with the team, while continuing to earn All-Star team selections and Gold Glove & Silver Slugger awards. Dawson would finish career with two seasons each with the Boston Red Sox and Florida Marlins before retiring. For all of his accomplishments, Dawson was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2010.
