Anniversary Excelsior Jenny for the 15th anniversary of Jenny's birth. Judging from the hair color, I believe it's Type B.
I purchased it as a collectible from an auction site and stored it in its box on a shelf away from direct sunlight.
I have not opened it since I acquired it, nor have I removed it from the backing.
Released in 2000.
The hair is made of the discontinued and rare Toyokalon, giving it a very elegant and luxurious feel. It features two vertical rolls on each front side, with loose, fluffy hair from the sides to the back.
The beautiful, classical white and navy blue dress is lavishly adorned with velvet ribbons and lace edging.
The box's Velcro still functions, but there are some frays, color fading, and scratches.
